Keratin Lash Lift is an advanced technique designed to boost and lift the NATURAL EYELASH without the need for growth serums, false lashes or extensions.  With this procedure your natural lashes are lifted up, tinted and filled with a special keratin infusion. As a result, your lashes look thicker and darker and are beautifully lifted upwards, creating the illusion that they are instantly longer.  Results can last for 6-8 weeks, depending on the individual.

What to Expect

The process is very relaxing. After you lie down on the table, I will first clean your upper lashes and cover your lower lashes with a soothing gel pad to protect your lower lashes during the application. You then relax with your eyes closed. Many clients fall asleep during the procedure. Based on the length of your lashes, I will choose the appropriate silicone pad size (used to lift and shape your lashes) and will adhere the pads to your lids with a water soluble adhesive. I will then brush back the lashes so they attach to the silicone pad and apply the specialized Lash Lift solution. Depending on the length and thickness of your lashes the permanent relaxing solution will sit on lashes for about 10 minutes.  The solution is then removed and a setting solution is applied for another 10 minutes.  After removing the neutralizing solution a lash tint is applied and sits for a few more minutes. A Keratin lash conditioning treatment mask is then applied to finish the service.

Before Your Appointment

1 week prior to treatment remove any lash extensions and do not wear false lashes.  Do not wear waterproof mascara or use a lash curler within 72 hours of treatment. Come to your appointment with clean eyes, free of makeup.  Your lashes should not get wet for 48 hours after your Keratin Lash Lift so showering prior to your appointment is suggested.  This service is not recommended for individuals with skin or eye allergies, sensitive eyes, or Dry Eye Syndrome.  If you are suffering from an eye infection, recent eye operation, or cosmetic eye surgery I cannot provide this service until you are completely healed (6-8 weeks).

After Care

For 48 hours after your Keratin Lash Lift do not get your lashes wet or apply creams, lash serums, false lashes, or extensions. Also avoid hot yoga, steam, sauna, sweating and washing your hair during that time.  This will allow the keratin time to set.  Avoid using oil based and waterproof cosmetics for longer lasting results.

Eyelash extensions are individual, synthetic fibers that are attached to your own lashes (not your skin!), one by one, by means of a medical grade adhesive for the purpose of adding length, curl and volume to your natural lashes.  They are soft, lightweight, and flexible and cannot be sensed.  They can eliminate the need for mascara and go beyond the confines of your natural lashes.  Best of all, no one will suspect you are wearing them! At Beauty by Chanel I offer the revolutionary UV technique which cures the extension adhesive immediately, resulting in longer lasting extension that you won't have to avoid getting wet.

With routine Fill appointments your eyelash extensions can last indefinitely.  The extensions remain attached to the natural lash for the duration of its life cycle, which can last from 4-6 weeks depending on the individual.  To maintain a full and lush appearance a Fill is needed about every 2 weeks.  During your fill appointment outgrown extensions will be removed and extensions that have shed will be replaced.

What to Expect

You will be lying down with your eyes closed the entirety of the appointment and will be encouraged to relax, most clients fall asleep.  After you lie down on the table your lashes will be thoroughly cleaned and soothing gel eye pads will be placed over your lower lashes to protect them during the treatment. I will then start to apply the extensions, one by one, to your natural lashes. I will promote only minimal conversation, as excessive facial movement can make application difficult. You will awake from your Lash Nap with fuller, longer, and more luscious lashes.

Before Your Appointment

Come to your appointment with clean eyes, free of makeup.  Extensions cannot be applied if there is an eye infection, recent eye operation, cosmetic eye surgery (6-8 weeks), or latex allergy.  Not recommended for individuals with allergies, sensitive eyes, or Dry Eye Syndrome.  Fills will be preformed on another lash technician's work at my discretion; a new Full Set will most likely be required, as previous extensions most commonly require removal.

After Care

No excessive rubbing, tugging, or pulling at your new lashes.  Avoid sleeping on your lashes. If you are a side sleeper rest your face on the edge of the pillow so not to squish your lashes. A satin pillowcase will be most gentle on your lashes, as well as your face and hair. Avoid using oil based facial products, eye creams, makeup remover and makeup (including pencil eye liner) as these products will break down the adhesive on your extensions and cause premature shedding.  Eyelash curlers are a no-no! using one on your extensions can cause massive damage to your extensions and natural lashes.
